How to Turn an Alcove into a Shoe Wardrobe

If you have an alcove in your bedroom, why not turn it into a makeshift shoe wardrobe/shoe storage space? My bedroom has a small alcove that was going to waste. It was hidden away in the corner and was too small to fit any of my furniture so I decided to turn it into a much needed shoe wardrobe. It was surprisingly cheap and easy to set up and is perfect for keeping my shoes organised so that when I’m rushing in the morning, I can find exactly what I’m looking for.

How to Revamp an Old Dresser

As well as being a great way of giving old furniture a new lease of life, painting furniture is also a great way to put your own stamp on a rented property (once you own the furniture that is!)

I bought a dresser for my dining room on eBay a couple of years ago and had a go at doing it up at the time. I didn’t do a great job of it and recently decided it was ¬†about time I finally gave it the facelift it so badly needed.
